Imagination Stage held it's Annual Gala and Silent Auction October 23, 2010. The gala featured a performance by Imagination Stage students and Professional Company with guest appearances by American folk singer-songwriter Tom Paxton and Imagination Stage alumnus, Mo Rocca, writer and satirist. Imagination Stage is a multi-discipline theater and arts organization which helps cultivate a love for the arts in young people of the greater Washington area.

The Party: The Imagination Stage’s annual gala was definitely a crowd thriller as the pre-Halloween bash was nothing short of spook-tacular. The Players: Mikel and David Blair chaired the theatrical benefit that raised $335,000 from ticket sales , sponsors and the silent auction. Proceeds will be used to fund the theater’s productions and arts education programs. Best in show: Dance ensemble and lead singer Shante Tabb put on a classic Michael Jackson “Triller” performance and Imagination Stage students put on an eternally memorable finale dubbed “Be Immortal.”
